MPAC has the following training groups:
Run: Kons 10 Miler
When: Every Sunday 7am start
Where: 66 Allison Road Mount Eliza
Type of run: Group does 10 miles (16km and extra after depending on upcoming events) at varying speed comfortable for your level.
Suitable for those training for distances 10k through to Marathon
Run: Junior Training Session
When: Every Tuesday 5pm start until 6pm
Where: Mace (Balcolmbe) Oval Nepean Highway Mount Martha, opposite ‘The Brairs’ reserve.
Type of run: With Coach Mike Wheatley primarily for Juniors (U12 and up) who are looking to improve over middle and long distances.
Suitable for those training for distances 400m through to 5k. Parents welcome to join in on the run.
Run: Advanced Junior Training Session
When: Every Thursday 4pm start until 5pm
Where: Peninsula School Tuck Shop, enter off Wooralla Drive past Junior swimming pool, Mount Eliza
Type of run: With Coach Mike Wheatley primarily for Juniors (U14 and up) who are looking to more advanced competition over middle and long distances.
Suitable for those training for distances 400m through to 10k.
Training: Distance, Throws and Sprints with Craig Mahony
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30pm to 6:00pm and from August, includes a Sunday session 10:30am to 12:00 noon.
Where: Ballam Park Athletic Track
Also conducted by Craig - Strength and Condtitioning at Ballam Park Athletic Track Monday & Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm and Friday 5:00pm - 6:00pm
